My name is Nkiruka (NK), and I am the proud founder of PWD Athletics Academy.
Athletics has always been more than just a passion for me—it has shaped me into the person I am today: resilient, compassionate, and deeply committed to helping others. Through my own experiences as an international athlete, I’ve learned the transformative power of sports, and it’s my mission to share this journey with the next generation.
As an ex-international athlete, I have had the privilege of representing my country and achieving extraordinary milestones. These experiences instilled in me a drive to create an academy where athletes can grow, thrive, and find their own success in the world of athletics.

My Qualifications:
I am a Qualified Licensed Athletics Coach, certified by the UK.
Athletics Association, and hold an enhanced DBS check.
My professional training, combined with years of hands-on experience, allows me to guide and motivate athletes to unlock their true potential.
My Accomplishments:
I proudly represented Nigeria on the global stage from 1998 to 2008, competing in some of the world’s most prestigious events:

The Commonwealth Games in Manchester (2002)

The Tunisia African Championship (2002), excelling in the 100m and relay events
In addition to my international achievements, I was:

A member of the British Army Athletics Club in Abingdon (2003), competing in the Armed Forces games

A member of Woodford Green & Essex Ladies Athletics Club in London (2002–2004)
These experiences have given me a unique perspective on the dedication, planning, and perseverance required to excel in athletics.
