Meet Our Champions

Divine Iheme - 100m, 200m runner
14-year-old sprinter, set a new world 100m record at 10.30 seconds, breaking the previous mark of 10.51.

I’m Devine Iheme, the proud son of Coach Nkiruka (NK)—my incredible mum, who is not only the best mother in the world but also the most amazing sprint coach you could ever have. I feel truly blessed to be her son, and I am deeply grateful for everything she has taught me.
I have been training with my mum since I was a little boy. She guided me every step of the way, leading me to where I am now—proudly holding the 14-year-old 100m record with a time of 10.3 seconds. I am incredibly happy to have achieved this title, and I am thankful for the skills, knowledge, and discipline my mum has instilled in me, both as an athlete at PWD Athletics Academy and as her son.
I’d love to invite anyone passionate about running fast to join us at PWD Athletics Academy. Based in Oxford and Abingdon, we train hard, and my mum will coach you just as she coaches me, helping you reach your fullest potential.
We would be thrilled to welcome you to our academy and support you on your journey.
We hope to see you soon!

I’m grateful to PWD Academy for giving me the opportunity to be part of such an amazing team, and I highly recommend the academy to anyone who wants to run faster. I’m living proof that with the right coaching, anything is possible. If sprinting is your dream, don’t hesitate—join us!
We look forward to meeting you.

Aisha S. - 200m Sprinter & Long Jump
I am absolutely thrilled to be part of PWD Athletics Academy. For the past three years, I have been a member of Radley Athletic Club, where I am still coached by Coach Alex and represent the club. However, I have always felt the desire to train more intensively and improve my sprinting skills. Joining PWD Athletics Academy has provided me with the perfect opportunity to do so.
I’ve known Coach Nkiruka for quite some time, and she has occasionally trained me over the years at Radley Athletic Club in Tilsley, Abingdon. I am incredibly grateful to now be a part of the team, and I couldn’t be happier. The atmosphere here is incredibly welcoming, and the energy is unmatched. Everyone is so friendly, and Coach Nkiruka (NK) constantly pushes me to reach my full potential.
Every training session is incredibly valuable, and I look forward to each one with excitement. I’m eager for the upcoming competitions and to continue growing with this fantastic team.
